Mission 

• Develop research and services in the areas of engineering, architecture, computer science, and computer science. • Actively contribute to the technological development of the country, through the research in the field of engineering, architecture, computer science, and computer science.
• Train graduate students and post-graduate.
• Contribute to the training of technical staff and specialists by means of continuing education programs.
• Make research projects with internal funds, external, and mixed by contract; with the purpose of solving specific problems of government departments, autonomous institutions, private companies and individuals.
• Promoting service in the areas of own research in engineering.
• Publish and disseminate the results of research projects.
• Develop activities with other institutes and organizations in the priority projects for the Institute and for the development of the country.
